| 12/18/2003 Research Grants Available For Faculty at Minority Serving Institutions -Tropical Biology Research Experience Specifically, this project targets faculty members at minority-serving U.S. institutions who have limited opportunities to conduct research in a tropical field setting, especially those faculty who work primarily in teaching colleges and universities. Under the supervision of a research facilitator, six faculty participants will conduct individualized research projects at one of OTS' three research stations in Costa Rica. Each participant will receive a stipend of $1,000 per week ($8,000 for the eight-week experience) , roundtrip airfare, room and board and a $500 allowance for equipment and supplies.
