The Employer agrees to abide by all of the expectations specified in the Employer Responsibilities document, specifically:

1. FASS, the Student Internship Database, and/or the applicable university/college are not liable for the conduct or neglect of the person(s) engaged by your company.
2. FASS, the Student Internship Database, and/or the applicable university/college make no warranty and can undertake no responsibility concerning an individual's suitability or performance.
3. It is the company's responsibility to perform any background and reference checks that are prudent and/or necessary.
4. Any individual hired by a company through this career service is considered to be an independent agent and is not offering his/her services as a representative of FASS, the Student Internship Database, and/or the applicable university/college.
