The Department of Animal Sciences, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN invites applications for a tenure-track Animal Behavior and Well-Being position, available July 1, 2010. Suitable candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree, or equivalent, in animal sciences, animal behavior/well-being, or related area plus successful experience in teaching, extension, and(or) research. The successful candidate will establish a scholarly, externally-funded extension program with an international reputation and will teach and advise both undergraduate and graduate students and provide leadership for the Center for Food Animal Well-Being, whose mission is to foster interdisciplinary research, extension, and teaching in animal well-being.
