The Department of Animal Science, North Dakota State University invites applications for a tenure-track, 12-month faculty position (Assistant Professor) with swine emphasis. The appointment responsibilities will be to develop an extramurally funded swine research program, provide on-campus instruction in swine, and lead a statewide extension program in swine production. Advising graduate students and participation in the Animal Science graduate program is expected. The successful candidate will work with the farm manager and swine unit manager to coordinate research, teaching and extension activities and provide direction in management of the swine unit. Cooperative, interdisciplinary extension programs and research with university faculty outside of North Dakota and industry cooperators will be encouraged.
