Members of FASS Founding Societies Serve on AAALAC Agricultural Program Advisory Committee

AAALAC International, the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, has appointed an advisory committee to help AAALAC better serve the agricultural research community. The Agricultural Research Program Accreditation Advisory Committee (ARPAAC) met for the first time in April. Members of the committee who are also members of ADSA, ASAS, or PSA include Jack Britt, David Ames, Jeffrey Armstrong, Oscar Fletcher, John McGlone, Joy Mench, Neal Merchen, and Janice Swanson.

John Miller, Executive Director of AAALAC International, has said, “The ARPAAC is providing instrumental advice that will allow us to better recognize and address the issues facing our colleagues conducting agricultural research. It’s an outstanding group of advisors, and we are extremely appreciative of their participation.”
