The 2006 Science Forum Program
The 2006 FDA Science Forum, co-sponsored by the Drug Information Association, Prous, the FDA Chapter of Sigma Xi, and the Institute of Medicine, boasts a very strong two-and-one-half day program, featuring 23 general sessions, plus plenary lectures on Innovation, Public Preparedness, and FDA History. The general sessions cover a wide range of topics, including drug safety, obesity, avian flu, new non-invasive medical devices, Critical Path, and Bioinformatics.

Registration
On-line Registration is now available through the Science Forum website. Please note the following procedures:

    • Please follow the registration link from the Science Forum website (http://www.fda.gov/scienceforum)
    • Each person is responsible for following the link and registering themselves (no group registrations)
    • Pre-Registration MUST BE COMPLETED BY April 12.

Abstract Submission
Once again, we are looking forward to a fabulous poster session, which includes posters from FDA, Academia, other Government agencies, and Industry. To allow more time for poster viewing and discussion, we have scheduled an entire afternoon for the poster session and exhibits (lunch will be on your own). To submit an abstract on-line, please note the following:

FDA BOOTHS For those FDA groups interested in exhibiting at the FDA Science Forum, please go to the Registration link on http://www.fda.gov/scienceforum , then click on the Exhibits tab.

PUBLIC SESSION We will have a public session at the Science Forum this year. We will be posting and updating the program as it becomes comes available. There will be a separate registration for the Public Session (so we can anticipate attendance), but it will NOT be through the registration link. REGISTER NOW!
