    Event Coordinator/Executive Assistant

    FASS, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a multi-talented individual to serve as an Event Coordinator/Executive Assistant and for our non-profit clients. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and self-motivated, have excellent organization skills, have the ability to prioritize, have above-average computer skills in Windows-based programs, and be able to learn new software applications quickly. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are essential. Duties will include, but are not limited to, coordination of meetings and conferences, board and member communications, taking minutes for committee and board meetings, and database/membership management. The ability to travel 30% of the time is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of related training and experience is acceptable.

    FASS Jobs Board

    The FASS Job Resource Center, a common service of FASS members and clients, was created to promote the efficient linking of open positions with scientists, in support of the tax exempt mission of each of the participating societies, to serve and advance the field of animal science and ensure its efficient operation. Members of any one of the FASS clients are provided with the opportunity to notify the scientific community of openings online for a reasonable fee. Nonmembers may also post position announcements online according to a separate fee schedule.

    The cost for posting a position opening is $150 for anyone who is a member of ADSA, AAFCO, AETA, ARPAS, ESS, IETS, ISAG, NCFAR, and PSA. This fee includes online announcements.

    Nonmembers may post an announcement online for $250.

    All position announcements must be paid for online using a credit card before the submission will be accepted.
